Distilled, blended and bottled by Kōloa Rum Company Kalaheo, Kauaʻi, Hawaiʻi, 34% ABV/68 Proof.
Kōloa Coffee is made from pure cane sugar, distilled in an impressive vintage 1,210 gallon, steam-powered copper pot still and cut with filtered water from the ancient Mount Waiʻaleʻale.
The Spirit itself is a collaboration between the Kauaʻi Coffee Company and Kōloa Rum Company.
The rum is distilled 2 times at 160 – 180 ABV.
Appearance
This spirit looks and pours like a rich cup of coffee with a deep brown, opaque hue surrounded by a light mahogany meniscus. Several swirls of this spirit in the glass reveal a hint of real coffee particulate that gather in the slow running amber kissed legs.
Nose
Freshly ground and brewed Arabica and Robusta beans with the sweet smell of molasses, rich dark chocolate and undertones kissed with a touch of Lilikoi.
Taste and Finish
This intensely rich, coffee-flavoured rum is slightly lower in ABV, which facilitates the amazingly complex flavours achieved. The initial sip is a highly robust espresso coffee balanced with white cane sugar. The spirit initially presents itself as a well-crafted espresso cocktail. Then, it’s back to a dry finish of light vanilla, hints of chocolate and a wonderful coffee flavour that can only be achieved by a great barista. Second and third sips of this elixir present hints of tropical fruit, hazelnut and stone fruits in the finish.

Amending or Cancelling an Order
Our warehouse team works quickly to dispatch orders. If you need to change your delivery address or cancel an item, please contact us at enquiry@uniteddrinks.co.uk immediately. While we will make every effort to catch your order before it leaves, we cannot guarantee amendments once the dispatch process has been initiated.
Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a refund or exchange, items must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date. To be accepted, returned goods must meet the following criteria:
- The product must be unopened, unused, and in its original condition.
- All security seals, capsules, and labels must remain intact and untampered with.
- The item must be in its original branded packaging (where applicable).
Please note: We cannot accept returns for bottles that have been opened or partially consumed under any circumstances.
How to Initiate a Return
- 1. Notification: Email enquiry@uniteddrinks.co.uk with your Order Number and the reason for the return.
- 2. Authorisation: Our team will issue a Return Reference Number and provide the correct warehouse return address.
- 3. Packaging: Securely pack the items to prevent breakage during transit. We recommend using the original transit packaging.
- 4. Shipping: Send the package via a tracked and insured service. United Drinks Limited is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
Non-Returnable Items
For health, safety, and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on perishable goods (mixers/syrups), customised gift sets, digital gift cards, or items marked as "Clearance."
Shipping Costs
Unless the return is due to our error, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
