Anti-Slavery Policy
United Drinks is committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. We operate a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and we are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships.
Our Commitment
Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It takes various forms, such as slavery, servitude, forced labour, and human trafficking. United Drinks is dedicated to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own business or in any of our supply chains.
Due Diligence Processes
- Identify and assess potential risk areas in our supply chains.
- Mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our networks.
- Monitor potential risk areas and maintain strict oversight.
- Protect whistleblowers and encourage the reporting of any genuine concerns.
Workforce & Training
We operate a robust recruitment policy, including "Right to Work" checks for all employees. All staff are provided with a written contract of employment and are paid at least the legislative minimum wage. To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks, we provide relevant training to our staff and encourage our partners to do the same.
Reporting Concerns
All employees, partners, and stakeholders are encouraged to raise suspicions of modern slavery at the earliest possible stage. We aim to encourage openness and will support anyone who raises genuine concerns in good faith under this policy.
Policy Review
This policy is reviewed annually to ensure it remains effective and compliant with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
